Did you know...tips on traveling to Cuba
Cuba is a cultural, people-to-people experience. The tours will be on a structured, permit-approved schedule. As a US citizen, you cannot go to Cuba to laze around on a Caribbean beach. Do not expect 5-star accommodations and services - it is NOT a luxury destination. But it is a step back in time and will be changing rapidly so we recommend to GO NOW!
Currently, you can only get to Cuba on a charter flight out of Miami as a departure point from the United States. This may require spending an overnight in Miami prior to departure as well as after your return from Cuba, so plan accordingly.
You can bring up to $400 of merchandise back from Cuba; $100 maximum limit for alcohol and tobacco. Up to 50 cigars and 1 liter of alcohol.
Cuba is the current "hot" destination and numerous people are going.
We cannot sell you an airline ticket to Cuba. We can only sell you a trip as part of an organized tour. We work with many reputable companies, so if you want to travel to Cuba give us a call!
(Of course, some people know how to "skirt" the rules but as a reputable travel company we cannot sell you on an unapproved trip).
